First of all, my gratitude goes to Sheri Herndon for pointing us to
    Open Kollab.

I initiated The Nodilus Project a year ago with a vision of creating
an online tool fostering regenerative culture.

Since then, I have been diligently gathering people, ideas and
alliances, as well as enough funding to support a small team and myself.

When I created the first demo video and website in March 2009, I
intuited that building such a network would require a new model of
business and governance, and be supported by a digital currency. The
ideas of open-source and open-collaboration sounded logical and
appealing to me, yet my experience in this domain was nil.

At the beginning of 2010, our team created a new website and demo
video (3 min). That effort attracted new collaborators and funding,
yet we quickly realized that our presentation was inadequate to
    engage an open-source development.

The conversations that I have followed on OpenKollab, Dreamfish, The
Transitioner and The MetaCurrencyProject, amongst others, have opened
my eyes to how many of us are driven to create environments that
foster sustainability and goodness in the world.

Our latest plan is to create an open-source, open-philosophy platform
to engage collective wisdom and creativity to guide the development
of Nodilus. We have recently received additional funding and have
earmarked the money to build our new presentation. We are operating
as a non-profit under the fiscal sponsorship of a large foundation in
    New Mexico.

We currently have two lawyers, one an expert in digital currencies,
working to create an innovative business structure that will support
an open-source development. Our desire is to bring collaborators
into co-ownership of the project, and we aim for Nodilus to be owned
and controlled by its community of users once launched.

We are searching for gifted developers, web designers and open-source
project managers to help build and manage this new platform. We've
been thinking of using a Drupal backend to hopefully involve the
community of Drupal developers to help us further refine our
platform, forum, rating of topics, etc.

We welcome your collaboration to assist us in our next steps.

    Sincerely,

Thank you for writing! Your's is the exact kind of project and
philosophy I've been looking for. I have a complete solution for you
that has just been waiting for you to come along. I'll put my life on
the line to make it a reality with you. I'm willing to relocate
immediately and live on practically nothing. A Free and Open Source
software advocate's dream-come-true as well as the future of the new
creative economy (but why .com?). Please get in contact…
